Welcome to Horne St Rail Jam 2013. (so far so good. But I may refile this under the category of “It seemed like a good idea at the time”)
On a very cold, late autumn day,
The boys in the neighborhood wanted to play
With no snow in the forecast but a chill in the air
It seemed like a good idea or at least a good dare
6 loads of snow from the local ice rink
I wonder what the people must think
We piled it high on a ramp and a rail
Was this idea destined to fail?
We worked through the day the sun started to set
They said we wouldn’t finish- Wanna make a bet?
Now the snow park’s complete, we blazed a trail
Now come out and watch us grind on the rail!
Special Thanks to Matt “Poppa Steezy” Severson for his engineering!
Derrick, Jeremy Severson and Chase Retrosi for their Shoveling Strength.
6 Trips to the ice arena to collect snow = $15
6 advil to help with back pain from shoveling = $1
Hours of skiing fun= Priceless
